    Exciting news from the Congo! This spotted hyaena is the first large carnivore to be collared in the Congo Basin. She forms part of a highly isolated population of about 70 individuals in Odzala-Kokoua National Park and has recently had cubs.

    beekeepers now have a fully equipped facility for honey collection, filtering, storing, processing & packaging and a union was created. Over 8,000kgs of bufferzone was harvested by cooperatives working with Akagera over the year.
