(3) These paintings are portraits designed to show their subjects at their best. But the problem, which the artist implicitly admits, is that Black women can't be "the best" if there is a white woman around.
(4) To achieve his goal of beautifying his Black subjects, the artist feels compelled to symbolically "pull down" the beauty that he feels overshadows his subjects, which he does by depicting the decapitation of a White woman.
(5) By doing this he is essentially revealing his own lack of faith in "Black beauty" and his aesthetic inferiority complex.
(6) In effect he is "racist" against his own race, declaring that Black beauty can only ever equal or surpass White beauty through extreme, radical, even genocidal "affirmative action."
(7) In other words, such a conflicted self-and-other-loathing artistic abomination was the perfect person to pick to paint Obama's portrait.
We are white women. We are proud. We hate racism. To renderings like this: We laugh. We laugh.

Another person who doesn't read the Bible! Wiley parallels many of the old master's depictions of Bible stories! Of course you would be that person who criticizes a van Gogh because it's covered with dots!
