The thing is, youtube has been put in a tough spot, since 2016 Youtube has been hit by stuff from major Mainstream Media reporters, losing advertisers, the Adpocalypse. this has caused youtube to go into a paranoid state, as stuff could destroy the entire platform's funding.

Online video is mostly Google’s domain. They literally have the monopoly and could set a standard of a “modern” TV if they wanted to. They just haven’t.
