I wonder what names are used for that star by those sentient beings living nearer to it? I wonder how many different names have been assigned to our own galaxy (Via Lactea) by other beings viewing us through magnified lenses? And I guess it’s no wonder I can’t sleep at night.

Spoke to my astronomy society who think it could go off within the next half a million years as red giants tend to pulsate and it's hard to tell. If it does, there will be a serious light show!
