This weekend at a party, I went around asking people, what was their most controversial opinion among the others at that party? I took their opinion and I went around and asked others what they thought, stacking more opinions as I went. All opinions were agreed with by majority.

hmm, you were either at the best party (of people all correct on difficult issues) or worst party (of people with mundane opinions they inaccurately think are edgy) – more data needed

I wonder how much answers would have varied if supplied anonymously? if accompanied by an estimate "what % of fellow partygoers do you expect will agree?" - & could then rank propositions by how well holder estimated level-of-agreement (useful meta-indicator of competence)

I'm planning on doing this the next party we host. We get 100-200 people and I'm gonna see if I can wrangle them into filling out little sheets and then I'll pin them on the wall.
