Observation: Substitute "man" for "black" and I doubt you'd be posting this. How is racism so different from sexism?

The reason it was scary was because women weren't on the street for a reason. I was the only person of that group who didn't know the reason. I probably would be worried also if the same thing had happened with race.

He didn't actually touch me; he followed me and then when I turned into a dead end, he lunged for me but stopped when I screamed

The neighbors where he tried to grab me were super helpful. Everyone was very helpful. I feel like you are used to people attacking men and being against the patriarchy and you've come into my thread thinking I think i like that too
