I have an idea of how horrible, violating, painful and psychologically scarring it would be from accounts of people I know. But id still rather that than get accused and my life possibly ruined. But again hard to say as I've had neither happen.

I didn't say it always is. I said you can. the possibility is there. I know someone who still has problems after 25 years being out at night alone to the point they are home before sunset regardless and if they go out after dark they only go by people coming and getting them.

Based on that famous 2012 CDC study, both men and women are victims of rape at roughly equal rates, at least recently.
