I was like, "New York City is the 1% though - this is one of the most privileged cities in the world, donating here is just the 1% donating to the 1% basically" and she was like, "but because it's the 1% the oppression structures here matter the most."

I have zero idea what an SJW is, but I guess it's a heated term. Growing up in NYC I would have guessed single Jewish woman considering you work for a dating site.. I guess not.. as for the NYC is the 1% and most privlidged city I whole heart disagree.. (cont)

Not necessarily the 1% of Americans, though undoubtedly some are, but certainly in the 1% of the planet. Though global poverty continues to improve, even our people in housing projects enjoy a *vastly* better life than most of the world.
