"if you're ethically non-monogamous i am ethically non-interested" what is this line I'm seeing on Tinder and why do I hate it

If I saw it, it would bother me because it's making fun of the thing without engaging with the humanity of it. Also, "ethically non-interested" sounds like a judgement rather than its parallel, which is a considered lifestyle choice?

"Ethically polygamous" implies moral supremacy of polygamy, which is definitely not the reason why poly people are poly. It's a dig at people who present their lifestyle as ethics-driven, through a joke that reduces it to absurdity (disinterest being a morally correct choice).

The term "ethnically nomnonogamous" is meant to clarify that it's not cheating. It's not sneaking behind your partner's back - it's relationships that are communicated clearly, and thus ethical. I've never heard that phrase used to imply that ethical nonmonogamy is superior.

Huh, then the line makes 0 sense. Anyhow, language is weird; why would "polygamous", a label people self-apply, imply that cheating is fine, and thus need a modifier? (Cheaters wouldn't share the fact they're cheaters) Mb people with line in bio are making the same mistake as me?
