I am not sure why you hate it. Could you expand on that?

I'm not sure why I hate it either! Something about their use of the word 'ethical,' in 'ethically not interested'. It sounds.... like it's making fun of ethical nonmonogamy somehow? but *how*?

It takes the word "ethical" and makes it subjective and judgmental?

If I saw it, it would bother me because it's making fun of the thing without engaging with the humanity of it. Also, "ethically non-interested" sounds like a judgement rather than its parallel, which is a considered lifestyle choice?

yeah! yeah that!

Non-interested is a weird way to say not interested, uninterested, or disinterested. You have three fucking words with the same root for that; use ONE, please.

Well I kinda get it - they object to use of the word "ethically" as justification of personal preference as "what's right", which is indeed infuriating. Weird platform for this message, as it would drive away more people who are monogamous than be the reason they swipe right.

10 years ago when I first heard of people living a Poly lifestyle it seemed like there were many more males interested in it than females. Now I see many more of my female friends showing interest and a majority of my male friends expressing their insecurities by avoiding Poly.
