From the outside looking in, the US on the whole seems to approach racism just about right. However, there are frequent peaks in hysteria and over-compensation that have become increasingly irritating with no sign of settling down anytime soon. The place looks disturbed at times.

Most people don't even recognize most of the racism which occurs in the US.

I think some people are too concerned, others aren't concerned enough, and the overall average is in the neighborhood of being right. If we could bring the concern of the average individual closer to the mean we'd be in a much better place.
