i hate this argument. just because the meaning is flexible does not make it completely useless.

so how do you define virginity for men and women?

Virginity usually means "never having had sexual intercourse" - the definition "sexual intercourse" is a bit broad, but definitely is used to refer to some things (PIV sex) and definitely not used to refer to others (hand holding)

ok. and does this "state" of not having had sexual intercourse have any inherent value for you?

Inherent value? Some people seem to value it a lot, others not at all. I don't know what inherent value means in this context.

oh, so you were just asking in a more abstract way. but I really don't know why people would value it in any way or would "want it back" because what would you gain if you had it back?

it was definitely a tongue in cheek tweet, cause it's hilarious to think of someone 'becoming a virgin' by having sex.
