Read some of the responses. Someone wrote about going to Europe on their own. Umm, that's taboo? I went to NYC on my own (for a concert at the Carnegie) from Europe (UK) and didn't consider it unusual. never mind taboo. Plus, I got to spend a whole day in the Met.
