The fact that more women than men believe in things I consider 'bottom tier' beliefs - like astrology, crystals, etc. - are confusing, because women have basically the same average scores on IQ tests, right?

Do women score higher on Agreeable (from the Big Five model)? That might help explain vulnerability to incorrect beliefs widely shared in the believer's social group. "Get the fuck out of here with that bullshit" is much more likely to be said by a man than a woman.
