The worst is when they're completely rational otherwise.

Frustrating, but I seem to find that everyone justifies at least one pseudoscientific/nutty belief. The most talented nutrition doctorate I know thinks the Earth is 6000 years old. The best physicist I know doesn't believe in evolution.

I’d be curious to know if there’s a sex difference in belief in astrology. Poll?
-
IIRC there is, but the difference is small, like 28/23. Also a more general poll shows men and women supporting one pseudoscientific belief or another in roughly equal proportion.

astrology becoming cool all of a sudden is scary to me. reminds me of this quote: https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/632474-i-have-a-foreboding-of-an-america-in-my-children-s … a lot of people seem to believe in astrology ironically (ie not really) but, it seems that it's been legitimized enough that some people give it credence
