A child is about to die. To save it, you must cast a magic spell that increases total global unemployment by 0.01%. This problem is repeated over and over. Would there ever come a point where you allow the child to die in order to prevent unemployment raise by 0.01%?

None. Many more child would dia because of their parents unemployment.

0.01% are more or less 500000 more unemployed parents.

It's a great question, I guess until unemployment starts killing people then the whole thing becomes counterproductive.

At least 1 to not deal with the guilt of not casting the spell. Then I'd like to think I'd base it more on logic/rationality, but if casting the spell was a long process, or had a lot of rolling Rs, Mandarin tones, or coordinated arm movements I'd just say "fuck it, I tried".
