If you're interested, I did high doses of LSD once a week for ten months until I 'nearly died'. Managed to come out of it without any constructed beliefs.

Some link between near death experiences and the death state of tripping you describe, re change and ongoing influence? Ta for the article.
It's a dangerous and life changing drug. I've only done it a handful of times but I believe it does expand your mind. It oddly helps you look at things from more than the traditional perspective. I'm glad I had the experience.
Interesting, almost all effects remind me the experience I have with meditation. This insures me I have to try it.
