Your poll was kinda nonsensical as it would be unknowable to what extent the state is making profit off of walmart by tax compared to how much it has spent on myriad of services(Roads, Military, Fire Department) provided over the years that benefit Walmart.
I think the thing I was trying to compare was, for every dollar spent at walmart, does more of that dollar go to walmart or to the government? And the answer looks like the government.
This is hella cool. I would have expected more money to go to Walmart tbh. I now feel less horrible when I end up shopping there but still plan to avoid it like the plague.
The problem was the word profit. With that word you had everyone calculating the factors I mentioned. Taxes and profits are apples and oranges and are hard to compare. Maybe you could have worded it. "What is greater? 1. The % of profit Walmart makes. 2. The % Walmart is taxed. "
