Your poll was kinda nonsensical as it would be unknowable to what extent the state is making profit off of walmart by tax compared to how much it has spent on myriad of services(Roads, Military, Fire Department) provided over the years that benefit Walmart.
I think the thing I was trying to compare was, for every dollar spent at walmart, does more of that dollar go to walmart or to the government? And the answer looks like the government.

I generally feel very distrustful of the government. A lot of the 'tax money' disappears, and a huge chunk of it goes to the war machine. A lot of it also goes to helping big corporations.

How is sale tax calculated in the states? In the UK it's calculated on sales and then the VAT (tax) on purchases by the business is deducted and that gives you the final payable figure, so effectively you're only taxed on gross profit, meaning you get the higher %
