Re: Oxygen. We can design possible tests - which iff actually performed - provide empirical evidence like you said. Macroeconomic demons don't AFAIK actually exist nor are even possible under sane metaphysical assumptions.

So if I did ‘encounter’ them, I'd l eo ipso believe myself to be hallucinating (or worse!). Would intuitions, consequences, justice, good etc. matter in this unreal circumstance? Why take this as demonstrating something evidentiary about our real moral world?
