I don't like shaming any part inherent to the human experience. But i think that being able to shame people for certain harmful beliefs is important.

Idk, a lot of my philosophy is based on authenticity and a lot of the human experience is unauthentic to the world around us like that feeling of tribal bias and our desire for purpose and stuff like that
Just cannot reconcile that with the fact that we are freely willed beings.
I recognize the coherence of your argument.
I reject such determinism. If I am wrong, so be it, but I refuse to be beholden to such a dis-empowering world view.
Deserving as in success or failure, or as in positive and negative consequences of our actions?
I am trying to reconcile that when dealing with bad people who are bad because of what they do to others. Rape Murder Violence type stuff for one, or three.
