Some men feel they have the right to exploit emotional labor, but others (probably the vast majority) don't. The whole point is that men get the constant cultural message that their feelings are not valid or worth listening to, that they have to 'be strong.'

Ive never felt the compulsion. Just realize that everyone has problems and no one really wants to deal with your bullshit but you gotta just soldier on and listen when people around you complain and act like you care.
