In the middle of the night I woke up with a pain in my ear, that slowly moved to feel like it was behind my back molar, and then it bounced back and forth a few times between tooth and ear before slowly fading away. Wtf was that, am I dying?

ear pain can definitely be a sign of a tooth infection; if a nerve is inflamed due to abscess or other cause it can present exactly like this, I'd get some dental x-rays and/ or see an MD. tooth infections can be deadly by causing heart issues among other things.

Sounds like a migraine nerve issue. The migraine nerve can cause headaches (obviously), but also jaw and ear issues along with ear ringing and even tingly in you arms and shoulders.

It may be related to your sinuses, an infection or fluid buildup/water from dinner! It could also be nerve damage or a tick of sorts. If it happens again and it's too painful, check the doctor for a possible infection.

Just getting old, life starts messing with your body and things go down hill. Fortunately is is usually a long slow decline, only really getting bad after 50 or 60.
