For a good deal of history LGBT people were so rare that it would be hard to find one to oppress them.

Surely not. It seems that at least homosexuality and being transgendered have strong biological components. If they don't appear in societies that despise them, it seems more likely that they were smart enough to avoid being noticed than they they didn't exist.

Realistically it would be Jews. I feel like Jews have been persecuted consistently for thousands of years. Then Blacks Since feel like blacks have only been oppressed because of their skin color for a few hundred years. I feel like LGBT have really come in and out 1/2
