It's almost like many companies involved with cryptocurrencies are doing either doing shady stuff, or not able to stop others from doing shady stuff. Oh right, that IS the case.

really it's my fault for trusting coinbase. As soon as I get my money out I'm gonna try to avoid using exchanges as much as possible.

This is reason #2 why I'm not in Bitcoin, I couldn't find a way to get in it safely and without intermediaries, to have my bitcoins in a brain or paper wallet. Surely there are many, I just couldn't find any yet.
