A stranger initiates sexual contact with a sleeping person. Would you classify this as sexual assault if the sleeping person reports feeling positively about the experience afterwards?

It depends on whether the sleeping person expected the initiation to occur during sleep or whether they had no idea. No idea = no consent = assault. Aware/anticipating = consent in advance = no issue. Whether it feels good or not does not change the act.

this seems along the lines but opposite of post-consensual-sexual-remorse, wherein one or both people feel bad/ guilt about it later and even might try to redefine their narrative of what actually happened because of those bad feelings.

Assault is assault. The only difference being if charges are pressed or not.

Ack, I said no when I meant yes. The key is stranger, because it is highly unlikely that an unexpected stranger encounter would end positively

I'm asleep. Growth comes in, text my penis out of my shorts, then begins performing oral sex. I'm into it so, I don't stop her. She finishes then leaves. Was I sexually assaulted?

A stranger amputates the leg of a sleeping person. Would you classify this as an assault if the sleeping person reports feeling positively about the experience afterwards?
