am i taking crazy pills or is the school system one of the worst things to happen to children? So many ppl I talk to were hurt so much.

Agreed. Public school created some pervasive negative habits in my cognition- I have an unschooled partner to compare to.

I've never seen public schools as capitalistic? Cause the government funds them? They're like the least capitalistic thing

Ok i am absolutely for women working, but I wonder if this also has to do with women entering the workforce? One less parent at home

Mine too. I wonder if bullying was rampant then? I wanna see stats on bullying across time, now. Idk if ppl have collected them.

Very fair. But maybe emotional resonance as bullying is the important part? But yea, lots of confounding variables.
