Does anyone know anything about radiators? My radiator valve isnt doin anything, and it's got a long silver metal tampony thing sticking out

It just locks it so it won't turn without pressing the button. Push the button, turn the knob

Alright so don’t worry about the button. Does the radiator have two pipes coming from the floor? Is one of them hot?

No, it is an energy saving setting. The valve has a thermostat, the green button locks the temp at about 68f. Push and turn for higher temp

I used to be a maintenance tech at apartments that had radiators but they didn’t have fancy thermostat things that yours does.

I don’t think the button does anything. Turn the valve to 6. And see if it gets hot.

It's possible that the house hasn't turned on any radiators yet since it's not winter.
