It cost a lot but you can have data recovery done on hard drives. Depends on how much your data was worth to you.

I bet you could recover most of the stuff off the hard drive. its usually not all lost

Recovering the data should be easy if the drive is not dead. Extract drive, external usb enclosure, should work
