The subject is silly. Veterinarians are overwhelmingly women in a tough STEM area. It simply comes down to interest.

Sexism isn't just sex-based animus, it's a structural relationship between the sexes that pervades all interaction, even our private lives.

Maybe internet usage is a good indicator of gender ratio interest. I don't think there is any social pressure for who uses the internet.
