Do you believe it's better for marginalized groups to be portrayed as treated well and normally by majority groups?

You fail to see context if you focus on isolated actions and events.

Need authenticity in media portrayals. I'm Mexican in TX, have been told 'racism is dead' at least 100 times while KKK marches each year.

If we present minorities as having an easier time in school and business than they actually do, people think everything's okay

This is the context issue. You may not perceive a problem, but we interact with 10s-100s of people per day. You see a person, somebody--
else sees a race. You don't have a problem, so you may not acknowledge that there *is* a problem when people call it out

I don't see how portraying someone as being treated well will help them, unless they are being treated well.
