when you make a typo, do you tend to delete the entire word and start over, or backspace exactly to the typo?

Needs: spend 5 times as much time as either option moving the cursor to the exact point of the error to fix it while leaving the word intact

I don't have any solid rule. Shorter words and mistakes close to the start of the word will make deleting all more likely.
