I don't really understand why they aren't, can someone explain to me a good reason for it?

i dunno i would perfer them free cuz when i goto store and get a text message that reads get tampons, id like em free too
Because women are punished by nature. Who are "we"? Who are those "men"? Why pretend to speak for them? I don't want other ppls money.

A woman doesnt "need" these either. Woman have lived hundreds of years without these products.

Sure, along with toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, toilet paper, basic clothing, shoes, etc etc.

Nothing is "free". Someone always pays. Restate the question to ask: "Should I force my neighbors to pay for my tampons?" Yes/No?
