i dont get how the majority thinks this is a bad idea rapists dont deserve privacy /protection but thats just my opinion

Accused would be dangerous, that way there be dragons, but I have no problem with convicted rapists being outed.

why are rapists/sex offenders tracked in publicised lists but murderers/violent felons are not? Lists are dangerous tools.

Not convicted? That can go as far as creating reasonable doubt or ruining an innocent man/woman.
