Yes, but I think more white women live in cultures that have less systematic oppression against women.

it's required in many Muslim cultures for all women to wear them. No black culture I know of requires blackface

partly because the Ottoman empire spread Islam deep into Europe; partly because every woman has to wear one in some countries.

depends on a multitude of circumstances, whether they're in a muslim country, are muslim themselves, in a mosque to show respect
