The problem is when capitalism gets it's claws into government & then suddenly competition is hampered & monopolies run rampant.

but thanks to capitalism those same affordable clothes are usually made by slave labor sweatshops in the 3rd world...

Clothes I bought recently are falling apart faster than ones from a decade ago, because consumers have no way to tell quality.

I'm all for free markets when they're free. When it's death to walk away from a deal, it's not a free market.

yeah but it's not like the clothes themselves are getting better in quality. Makes more sense to go to the thrift shop.
