if it was the anniversary update, I'd revert back until next month when they fix all the shiz they broke.

As a fellow Civ5 addict, I feel your pain! If all else fails, try a re-install.

right click on the app and click run as admin that might work otherwise just google search how to revert (Im to lazy to type it)
