Idk why people are saying religion has nothing to do with terrorism. It's not the only factor, but they are definitely related.

The real factor is extremism and intolerance. The fact that it is in the name of a religion is a side issue.

I wouldn't say they have nothing to do with it, but it could happen in any religion. I think it has more to do with psychology.

that's not to say the religion promotes terrorism, but strong faith can make people believe crazy actions are God's will.

IMO, it also depends on the definition of 'terrorism'. In the USA it's become a sensationalized catch all word for bad deeds

"Nothing to do is" far too strong. Radical elements of a religion are used selectively as propaganda to manipulate human tools.
