I can't figure out why anybody is an ethical cognitivist. Do I just not understand or is ethical cognitivism actually really silly?

Redundancy in the title alone, firstly. Secondly, Ethics are only objective in context which still means its kinda subjective

Cognitivists imagine morality to have the capability of being objectively true. It would be a reassuring thought if true.
