I think if you stood on a perfectly flat, infinite plane, with no visibility limitations, you'd appear to be standing inside a sphere.

What size sphere? Actually I've played around on such a plane in 3D space, and the horizon's pretty distinct.

I see other replies don’t get your point. It’d have to be REALLY big for gravity to bend light rays back to it. And dense.
