The concept of 'consent' is frustrating. Don't blame the man if it was your failure to say no.

Seems like you're baiting people. The concept is multifaceted and that generalization does not do it justice. :P

Only so much you can say in a tweet! I think I'll write a blog post about it.

@KimberlyMayNot Condition them out of it! Which is why I talk about it frequently - women, you have to just SAY NO.

@KimberlyMayNot Women have conditioned men very highly to understand that ambiguity=consent. Ok I gotta write a blog post about this. brb.

Because failure to say no is totes a 'yes'? A repeated and constant yes sounds like the only thing consent should be.

I want to fav this, but I risk being labeled a 'rape supporter'. You raise a very valid and not often discussed point though.

I think a lot of people feel like if they don't rush into new sex somehow they're going to miss out; sometimes you gotta tip toe

I can see that perspective, but I also think a reall man will make damn sure she wants it before he puts it in her.

Unspoken physical intimidation can be a reason not to say no. Not the same as saying yes. Some boys still need to learn this.
