ok guys i need a walkthrough. Is it possible to send mail after the post office closes? Where do you get stamps? I'm facing my fear.

A lot/most post offices will have a machine you can buy stamps from even after the main office is closed

stamps usually can be had in an office store too.. and i am sure that even in the US they have mailboxes outside ;)

stamps can also be bought at Walmart as well. If you are in larger city, some 'main' branches you can take to as late as 11pm

you will need to call around/search online to find the post office that accepts mail the latest for your area

You can usually get stamps and send out normal Postal Service mail through a FedEx or UPS store; many of which are open later.
