This is awesome work (it confirms basically all my preconceptions, which might be biasing me)

i have a gargantuan dataset with over 1000 questions - what happens if i separate out cis men, cis women, trans men, trans women, etc. answers and check how similar the scores are to each other? Some key takeaways:

Like, the survey managed to capture 3 times more trans men than trans women, that's way outside the standard aella demographic, but suggests it skews SUPER young, which... it does

I was also assuming I captured more transmen than transwomen for the same reason I captured more cis women than cis men; something about the platforms my survey went viral on are more preferred by biological females. are transmen unusually young tho?

Historically FtM was quite rare, seen almost as an anomaly by physicians. But the rate of FtM transitioners exploded between 2010 and 2020, and now there are more people beginning FtM transition that MtF each month.

Since most trans men transitioned in the last 5โ€“10 years, and people tend to transition in their teens or 20s, the population as a whole is very young. The rate of MtF people also increased notably over the same time period, but not as much and it was higher to begin with.
