In my kink survey (n=500,000), I asked people if they'd taken an official IQ test. If they said yes, then I asked them what their score was. It looks like average answers group more closely by birth sex, not gender: Cis males: 128 Cis females: 126 Transwomen: 129 Transmen: 126

(obviously the average answer is nearly 2std higher than average; my guess is ppl are disproportionately likely to be given IQ tests if they seem smart to begin with, and also much more likely to report their results if the answer is high)

Most folks who get IQ tested end up on the lower end of the spectrum; they’re often brought in for testing during school years due to issues completing work - so the test often helps identify learning disability/ID. IQ tests take a *long* time to administer and aren’t cheap /1
