trying to figure out plans, might end up in NY or western europe in mid march?
Are there any cool events I should try to hit up or dope group houses I should ask if I could stay at, etc.?

What do you mean by “group house”? I only know of the term to refer to where they put orphans..

If you end up in west europe try to pick up a balfolk evening. Sometimes there's people who dance like you, so maybe you'll enjoy! You can't compare it to anything in the usa

The Chalke Valley History Festival in a beautiful part of England is utterly brilliant. A week where you can learn so much. But it’s in June so not much use you you. Can’t recommend it highly enough though.
