Not entirely sure how to answer, given that my parents never charged me rent for staying in the home I had lived in for 12 years, and they still live in now...and rent control

I moved out at 17 and the only help I received was $500 towards a down payment on a used car when I was 20 and I paid my mother back. I love my mom dearly and if it weren’t for her influence I wouldn’t be the financially independent adult I am today.

I marked 10-100,000 even though this support technically did not come "after" I turned 18. They contributed to an account that I could only access after that age. Their contributions came before that age.
