I assumed everyone knew this but the lizardmans constant is not constant, it depends quite a bit on the nature of the question

Naw I thought I did, but I see people acting like the constant is always 4% or whatever, like just factoring that percent into their analysis

A constant in social science terms implies a point estimate with a confidence interval around it, so its fine to call it that. But: It has a weak scientific basis (only paper I could find is Lopez, 2018) and reports are not verified or reproduced by other studies so far.
