woke up from a dream, found that i was about halfway into a migraine aura, which was weird bc
1) it's never happened to me before
2) it wasnt visible in the dream (maybe this isnt weird? but they're always visible with eyes closed)

3) my auras have always been that typical C shape expanding+spiraling out of view but this one was a slightly wobbly straight, horizontal line across half my vision, and i'm *pretty* sure it dropped down sharply into a (rotated) L shape with the vertical bar in my peripheral--

maybe this is just a known type of aura, but my first thought was that they must get altered by brain waves, and sleep/dreams being odd, something about that distorted the shape???

that's sooo interesting, i always wondered if it was possible to get aural migraines when sleeping. Most of my auras have been the c-shape, but recently have started having variations on the theme. Last one was *just a blind spot*, no static!
