I often hear women talk about how they live in fear of men, on guard against sexual pursuit, being afraid to walk to their car alone, guarding drinks from drugs etc. - but I don't really feel afraid and haven't had much bad stuff happen to me? Idk why our experiences are diff 1/

Good for you but just because you haven’t had those experiences doesn’t discount the severity of how commonplace these experiences are. And tbh I had those thoughts too until I went through a series of abusive relationships. It’s not all about strangers

I'm not trying to discount anything, just trying to figure out why so many women are reporting an experience I don't really have! it's very confusing

Because you are NOT every woman. Why is this confusing? Why must you also experience them that other women's experience can be valid? Your initial assumption that your OWN experience must align with other women is wrong.
