gee wish you'd put more than two words onto what the normal rate of pay was in the area and if the workers themselves considered it a good deal

This is proof that minimum wage laws should apply to the employer, and not the employee. A company that does business in the US should be charged a tariff so high that it's cheaper to pay kenyans american wages.

I think the highest minimum wage was in Kenya at that time was .77 U.S. dollars an hour before tax. Could be way off, but that was my quick calculation after a Google search. Anybody know better?
